The location of the 4-star hotel Dorint Am Nürburgring-Hocheifel is hard to beat: in the background,
the wonderful landscape of the High Eifel region and right on the doorstep is the final straight of the
world-renowned race track – a dream come true, not only for racing enthusiasts. While it is certainly

Hotel am Tiergarten
As an alternative to the Dorint, the Hotel am Tiergarten is owned by "Ring Taxi" driver Sabine Schmitz's parents.
Enjoy the hospitality and the convenient 3-star comfort of their house.
Their hotel-restaurant-cafe is open throughout the entire year.
It is well situated (150 m to the GP Track Start/Finish and 500 m to the Nordschleifen - entrance)
in the middle of the village Nürburg. So it is the ideal starting point for all N&umml;rburgring
enthusiasts.
The Hotel was founded 1969 from Ursula Schmitz.
After some extendings they can offer you now about 50 rooms, all en suit.
Their youngest daugher, Sabine, was the first woman in racing history to win a 24 hours race,
even twice in a row 1996 and 1997 with the team of Johannes Scheid.
This season she races together with Klaus Abbelen in the BF Goodrich endurance Championship.
With their 997 Supercup (the one with the rissole) they have already celebrated some successes
finishing for the podium. Also she drives the original BMW Ring Taxi M5.
